2022 brings us a new year and new indoor season, and it also brings us January's athlete of the month Ms. Avery Segura. Avery has had a very busy month so far starting with signing her letter of intent to jump for the University of Arizona and then two new Prs in the triple jump while finishing 1st place at the Texas A&M High School Indoor Invitational this past weekend. These accomplishments did not happen by accident, this girl is very competitive and truly enjoys showing up to practice each day so that she can improve on her craft. Last year she had her ups and downs and to see her performing at a high level so early in the year makes me very proud be her coach and even more excited to see what's to come in the years to come. Keep up the great work Avery!
