Being a good teammate doesn't mean you are the most athletic, sometimes it means helping others understand their role and help encourage them through difficult times. These are things the Athlete of the month for January has done since day one. Who is this mystery athlete you may ask? Well it is none other than our Fruit loving friend Gunnar aka “G”.
Gunnar is one of the few kids always willing to introduce himself and others when a new kids in class during roll call. He has fallen in love with pushing heavy sleds and has a knack for balancing on his head. When he isn’t shooting hoops or kicking footballs he is usually hunting, fishing or exploring the woods near his house. It is always a pleasure to have him in class. Looking forward to watching all he will accomplish.
